This article explains how to edit or update your Fieldmagic document templates for Purchase Orders. It's a free and open-source office productivity software suite. You may check this link to download LibreOffice.  https://www.libreoffice.org/

The first thing you need to do is to check your document templates library in your Fieldmagic admin settings.

Below are the default templates in Fieldmagic that you can download and update using our document builder. Let's select Purchase Order in this example.

Then download the default Purchase Order document template:

Then open the document on Libre Office. In this example, I will also update the orientation to Portrait and edit the logo just like what we did in the Quotes template article.

This is the default template when you download it.

To change the logo, click Insert, click Image, and select your logo to upload it.

Resize and reposition as necessary.

To change the orientation from Landscape to Portrait, use the formatting tools on the right side of your screen and change the orientation from there, you can also edit the height, width, margins, and other formatting options. Once you've made all the changes you need, hit save and make sure the file type is saved as ODF Text Document or ODT.

The next step is to upload the template you just edited in Fieldmagic's documents template library. You have the option to either replace your current (default) Purchase Order template or you can upload it as a new Purchase Order template.

To upload it and replace your current (default) Purchase Order template, click the document template you selected earlier and upload your template and save.

To upload the template we just edited as a new Purchase Orders document template, click "Add" in your documents library.

And for Module, select Purchase Orders from the dropdown and upload your file then save.

To check the changes that you've made on your Purchase Orders template, go to your Purchase Orders module and select one record from your list. Click the documents tab and select the name of the template you edited.
